How to Plan For Time in Retirement

Planning for your time is as important as planning for your money in retirement. Unfortunately, the industry and retirees only focus on the money part and neglect the time part. Yes, planning how much money you’ll need to be comfortable in retirement is critical. But you also need to know how you’ll spend your time to be happy. Think about the activities, hobbies, and interests that have always intrigued you or are eager to pursue. Maybe you’ve always wanted to learn an instrument, go back to school, or explore your artistic side. Retirement is the perfect time to indulge in these passions and dedicate time to activities that light up your soul.

So while planning for the money aspect of your retirement, also plan for the time. And keep in mind that retirement is a journey; plans may evolve with time. Stay open to new opportunities, embrace spontaneity, and be willing to try new things.
