Full Show Notes:

Banking crises have existed for as long as humans have had banks. Banks, in their simplest form, make money by taking deposits and then loaning them to others. The difference between the interest it pays to depositors and the interest charged for loans is what they take home as profit. However, this system can crash when many people come to withdraw their money. A great example is what happened with Silicon Valley Bank. But in such scenarios, investment opportunities can arise, which we’ll discuss in today’s episode.

The current banking crisis can be a double-edged sword. On the one hand, it can lead to unprecedented financial instability and uncertainty. But on the other hand, it can also create opportunities for those willing to take risks. Some of the opportunities that arise during a banking crisis include investing in distressed assets, buying stocks at low prices, and even starting new businesses. But as earlier mentioned, there are risks as well as a lot of good opportunities. And it’s up to you to know what to look for and where.
