Walking the Camino De Santiago

The Camino de Santiago is one of the most highly sought-after pilgrimages in the world. The pilgrimage is about 780 kilometers (485 miles) across northern Spain and takes people through an incredible adventure over daunting mountains, beautiful coastlines, lush river valleys, sweeping plains, and small village towns. The over 1,200 years old tradition is rich in history and peace. This is why nearly 350,000 people from all over the world continue to complete the journey each year. The journey concludes at the Santiago de Compostela Cathedral, which houses the tomb of Saint James, one of the twelve apostles of Jesus Christ.

If you’ve ever felt like you needed an adventure that will help you unwind while pushing you to your extremes, the El Camino would be perfect. You’ll get to meet fellow voyagers and pilgrims and maybe even make lifelong friends. You will go back home with a few blisters, but feel refreshed and renewed from tackling the trail that is so famous for replenishing the soul.
